I'm gonna break this review up into several parts:

Installation:
Not the easiest thing to do; basically, you should use ABSURD amounts of application fluid while applying it. They give you a full bottle for a reason. I sprayed every inch of the shield during installation, and I bet I shifted it around about 50 times before I finally got it perfect.
However, I did get a really small piece of lint (~2mm) under the screen, not really noticeable; looks like a dead pixel. Try not to get any under there just for perfection ;)

Post-Install, and results after 1 year:

Before purchasing this, almost exactly 1 year ago, I purchased this same protector but for the iPod touch 2G. After a year, I was about to sell it and I peeled off the protector. It left no nasty residue, and the screen felt almost perfect. Not a single scuff, scratch or mark. However, my protector looked like it went to a battlefield. It had about 2 scratches, medium size, and a piece of protector ( maybe 2mm wide and 1mm deep) was ripped out of the screen. While I had the protector on, it slightly distorted the image, but was not a major issue. I did not however, send it in for the Lifetime warranty because with the 10$ shipping, it's almost the same price as a new protector, so I opted against it.

Final Verdict:
Buy this invisibleShield. I did not really purchase this for scratch protection, as the iPod's screen itself is nearly impossible to scratch. However, I bought it for the resistance and shock absorbency. The bare glass is quick to shatter if you drop the ipod face down, and it is not very fun to have an iPod with a huge crack in the side. At only 12$, it is a cheap insurance for your iPod.
