I had previously ordered a replacement LCD from another seller which arrived shattered. Time was an issue for me, and it's hard to tell which products are going to be good.
This THE one.
The Shipment:
Due to time constraints for the completion of this fix, I ordered the (pricey) expedited international shipping.
The screen was inside a form fitted soft-body styrofoam container, inside a box, with additional styrofoam tapped to the outside, inside the shipping bag.
(aka amazing packaging making sure the product comes safe.)
The Product:
The screen itself came with a protective cover over the LCD to insure that it is not scratched.
Like most screens ordered a replacements, the back of the LCD is Not the shiny layer, however, that shiny layer can be removed from the original LCD and attached to this one (which is what I did.)
The LCD was solid with everything intact. (Although there were some small circular divits on the screen, but this was not visible after the digitizer was put in place.)
The Cons:
The shipping is either fast and painfully expensive, or free with a heck of a wait time. (Though if you are willing to spend the money, this product is well worth the shipping cost.)
TOOLS MISSING! I wouldn't depend on this shipment to provide the tools you will need. Mine only came with the short screw driver, and a single pry tool. Luckily I already had a kit.
Conclusion (TL;DR):
If you are looking for a 32/64gb 3rd gen iPod Touch replacement LCD, BUY THIS!
(P.S. If you are new to replacing the LCD (as I was) I suggest buying a new digitizer. I wrecked the rubber on the sides of my digitizer and it would have looked awful had I not bought a replacement.)
