This is a very good product. IT COMES WITH 2 PLASTIC PRY TOOLS AND A SMALL FLATHEAD SCREW DRIVER. You might want to purchase 1 or 2 more Plastic Pry tools (they can wear out). You will need to buy a tiny Phillips screw driver.

A couple of points:

1. Opening the ipod is very difficult. I think it took me like 5 hours. I almost gave up!
2. Be careful NOT to cut the cable ribbon to the audio jack. It is attached to the motherboard. I didn't realize this when I "flipped" the motherboard back...and ended up severing the cable ribbon. This wasn't emphasized on the Youtube videos. Hopefully, you will learn from my mistake.

If you can get the ipod open, the repair should be fairly easy.

Just don't cut the cable ribbon... but if you do, you can always buy an external speaker like I did.
